Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have separated
after two years of marriage, according to
documents obtained by Fox News Digital.

Lopez filed for divorce in Los Angeles County
Superior Court on Tuesday. Their annulment
petition was filed on their second

wedding anniversary in Georgia.
Reps for Affleck and Lopez did not immediately
respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Rumors about their separation

Rumors about their separation have been bothering
Hollywood executives for months. A source told
People magazine in June that Lopez was living

in the couple’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion
while Affleck was living nearby in a rented home
and trying to sell the pricey mansion.

“He started leaving earlier,” a source told Fox News
Digital at the time. “The marriage is finally over and
Jennifer is heartbroken. He loves love

and he really wanted it to work.”
Despite difficult times in his personal life,
Affleck remained true to his professional goals.

“Ben works non-stop and spends a lot of time in
his office,” the insider said. “He does a lot of
projects that excite him. He is very hands-on with

his company (Artists Equity). He wants to
continue to focus on directing, acting and producing.”
Affleck later married Jennifer Garner,

whom he met on the set of Pearl Harbor, in 2000.
Garner was married to Scott Foley at the time,
and Affleck publicly said the two fell in love while

filming Daredevil in 2002. The Good Will
Hunting actor was dating Lopez at the time.
Affleck and Garner got engaged in 2005 and

had three children before divorcing in 2018.
Lopez has been married three times. He wa
briefly married to Ojani Noah from 1997 to 1998

and to backup dancer Chris Judd from 2001 to 2003.
After splitting from Affleck, she married Marc
Anthony in 2004. The former couple had twins

in 2008. Anthony and Lopez divorced in 2016.
Jennifer didn’t get together until the summer of 2021,
and Affleck proposed to Lopez in the shower in April.

The Marry Me star previously changed her name
when she married singer Marc Anthony.
Almost six months after their divorce was

finalized in 2014 — and three years after they
separated — Lopez dropped her last name, Muniz.
