Chelsea’s Noni Maduke welcomes collaboration with Cole Palmer
Introduction: Chelsea’s Noni
Chelsea striker Noni Maduke praised team-mate
Cole Palmer after Sunday’s 6-2 win over Wolves.
Maduke scored a hat-trick in the second half and
Palmer assisted all three of his goals at Molineux
as Chelsea kicked off the season.
“He’s cold and I’m fired up, so it’s a good game.
He’s always been able to make the right pass at the
right time, so that’s brilliant,” Maduke told Premier League Productions.
“Today means a lot. Be really smart and wait for the right moment.
This system allows us to study,
This system allows us to study, study, study and improve [the ministry].”
“Maybe it was too much in the first half,
but in the second half we took over. The first [goal] was luck,
the second Palmer goal was two brilliantly
weighted passes that I had to make and score.”
“I scored a hat-trick, but we had a big part in the victory.”
The 22-year-old footballer was praised by the new coach, Enzo Maresca.
“I think it’s clear. Everyone saw what he did last year at Leicester [promotion].
His attitude is angry, because of the small details.”
“In the first game against City there were a few
patterns of play that maybe he couldn’t finish,
but today was a great day for him.” Chelsea won the league. “
Palmer also scored just before half-time to give
Chelsea a 2-1 lead before Wolves equalized moments later.
But the second half of the show was Maddock and Palmer.
Palmer had a successful first season at Stamford Bridge when he moved from Manchester City for £40 millio ($52 million) last August, scoring 27 goals and providing 15 assists in all competitions. Earlier this month he was named in the Young Players squad for PFA Carpenter of the Year
Maresca’s two star players will come into action after a difficult start to his tenure as manager, with doubts over the club’s transfer activity and a 2-0 defeat to City in the opening game of the Premier League season.
New Chelsea signing Joao Felix also scored in the win over Wolves, making it his second start for the club.
Felix joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid on a seven-year deal after spending six months on loan with the London club last season.
