Introductio: There is a lot of star
INDIANAPOLIS – When Indiana Fever crushed
the Suns at the mighty Ginbridge Fieldhouse on
Wednesday night, there was plenty of star power in the building.
Indiana University’s 84-80 win protected the Fever from the sun. It was a huge turnaround for the Fever, who had lost three times to Connecticut earlier this season. One of those moments was when coach Christy Sides removed a starter in the second half.

Olympic gold medalists Simone Biles and Gabby Thomas were in the audience, as were entertainment icon and Indianapolis native David Letterman and Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson.
The Fever are currently seventh in the league with 15 wins and 16 losses and are assured of reaching the playoffs. Below are three observations.
Warm yourself towards the sun
As of Wednesday night, Fever teams had five games in which they scored 50 or more points in the first half. All came against teams that had won easily all season, three against Atlanta and two against Phoenix.
On Wednesday, Láz played for the sixth time against a team with a score of 0-3. But Indiana is a different team than the last time they met in June.
Indiana started the game on an 8-2 run and took an easy lead. They made 50% of their 3-point attempts (9-of-18) in the first half and held the Suns, the second-best team in the league, to nine turnovers.
Previously, the Fever had won all five games in which they scored 50 or more points in the first half.
This time it was a bit difficult. With a minute left and Teb only two points behind, Teb and Sun exchanged baskets. The game was unstable. Sun is a veteran and has experience competing for the ball.
