Ryan Braun was 9 of 19 for 93 yards, an interception and a 48-yard rush in his second career start while Hudson Card remained in the concussion protocol. Reggie Love had 93 yards on 11 carries and Purdue (1-6, 0-4) has lost six straight (three by at least 35 points).

It was the same at Purdue on Friday.

“We didn’t have to beg them to keep playing or keep buying,” head coach Ryan Walters said. I think that when you fail, you should be able to state the reasons for the failure and find solutions to improve. If you can point to something tangible, you can hope I can get it.
