“After the first six minutes of the game, I thought we played pretty well. We played solid defense,” Clark said. “I’m proud of this team. I thought we had a fight,
but they ended up not letting me approach, which was a problem last time we were here. We let them come back, we know they’re united.” “The team was good in the fourth quarter, but we fought back and got it done.”
Clark opened the second quarter with two 3-pointers to get even more momentum going. In the end, they led 34-12, with Mitchell’s 3-point shot, they gained a 10-point advantage.
Chicago trailed 47-41 at halftime until Reese’s free throw opened the second half, leading to a technical by Aliyah Baston, who was upset she didn’t make the half. He made the free throw and it was a five-point game in the second half.
The Tabs went up 11 points early in the third quarter before Damiris Dantas hit a free throw as time expired and Hall hit a free throw with an offensive rebound in a close game. Smith scored 11 points in the third quarter and the score was 76-64 heading into the fourth quarter.

“Sometimes it goes up, sometimes it goes down,” Reese said. “I don’t want to keep losing. That’s not a good feeling for anyone.”
